It was like any other day at work...when this news was broken to us...though all of us were in pune, the terrorists echoed throughout the country....we immediately logged on to the Internet...trying to find out live news channels...
Though i didn't have friends no relatives at Taj or Oberoi.....couldn't explain why i was so concerned....so disturbed it was not just me. it was the entire country...
our mumbai branch office was closed down on Thursday.....we were concerned....thankfully none of them were at taj....we were hooked on to the net trying to find out what the updates were.but the situation or the news was no relief to our restless minds...our lives though not in mumbai had been disturbed...i was angry and frustrated. didn't know how to react whom to blame......the government???...us...the intelligence? whom......
As the story unfolded i lost sleep was continuously hooked on to the news ..... when the story finally unfolded on Saturday night and Sunday morning...there was relief as well as overwhelming grief....for those who died for no fault of theirs children, families being shot in the head!...the sight of the dead bodies scared the commandos too...such an horrifying sight...blood and dead bodies lay in the once lavish restaurants...every Indian was mad with anger and rage at the sad state of our country...
This incident has been described as the worst ever terrorist attack on india....
after all this we indians have promised ourselves that we have to react to this inhumane act and that we would make our country stronger nad it wouldnot be vulnerable to any terrorism ever again. we should now promise ourselves in our hearts that this is one thing india or mumbai can ever forget.....
